Tourist visa for parents to visit UK

Post by ango_26 » Tue Aug 27, 2019 1:24 pm

Hi Forum members,

I am sponsoring my parents to visit me in the UK. I filled the online application form on behalf of my father. There is a section in the application to add spouse information and to state if the spouse will be travelling along with the applicant. I have used that to add my mother's details and confirmed that yes she would be travelling with my main applicant which is my father. At the end of the application, I paid the fees for 6 months visa and then I am re-directed to VFS site to book appointment for document and biometrics submission. While trying to book the appointment, I only see the option for 'Individual' for the main applicant. It's not clear to me if I need to submit a separate application form for my mother and also paid separate fees for her.

The Visa Helpline is very expensive to call from mobile and I am reaching out here to clarify this question.

Does anyone have come across this query before and would anyone be able to help clarify this concern of mine?

Thanks a lot in advance.
