i think they do verification from your new company but the only question is that are u getting the same or above pay if it is > then ur previous pay then its ok...

After verification normally they took almost 3 to 4 working days to get back ur passport from BHC to gerry's office. when ur verification was done?

I dont see any reason for your case, infact you have mentioned in your covering letter that you have moved to new company with better salary etc. To me it seems fine you will be OK. But, I understand the tension, I have been through all this.

It usualy takes 3 to 4 days to return your passport back after varification, but these months are heavy months and now days, it took me 15 days to get my passport back. To an extent your are right, coz my visa issued just next of varification.

But, My experiance is 15 days after visa issue date, between there was not any update at both call center and web site. I think Gerrys are also overloaded.

took exactly a month (well a day less) and yeah just collected my passport from Islamabad today. The nice guys at the embassy, despite all my doubts, issued me my first HSMP visa on the 7th, passport arrived yesterday at Gerrys and I collected it today. I can now take a deep breath and start counting my departure dates. Couldn't than Allah more for the blessings he has been showering on me (SubhanAllah)

All I can say is best of luck guys, my prayers are with you - anyone who has a share in the pie will get their fair share despite all the hurdles. This is a great thread you guys have got here if the moderators could change it into a comprehensive Q&A it could be a great source for first timers like me who didnt know their left from right.

For those of you who might be interested, the BHC didn't make any calls to verify anything (my Manager was waiting to pounce on someone because of the delay it was taking to process my application so I would have definitely known). They didn't contact my bank (HSBC) to verify any statements or the amount I had in my account as well, I would have know coz the bank has a habit of informing customers about what is going on.

yes verification done on 8th but still the website shows same old status, i have called gerry today they ur passport still in BHC... so let see...

There has been several cases in which they didnt even verifiy, I am not sure what would be your case.

Usualy Visa caseworker call your office and ask for HR person etc, they didnt ask for CEO, if it i not small company of few.

My experiance is: usualy, after day or two of varification BHC Grant visa or otherwise. Now a days Gerrys specialy (Karachi) taking 10 o 15 days to clear passport return, due to heavy load of summer travellers. This has slowed down the process.

I hope waiting one will get decision soon.

i just checked my HR recieved a call today from BHC...

they asked for HR manager and ask about my salary and designation, date of joining, about company etc.

Now i hope by the end of next week something will come out.

I got couple of verification calls today.. .

First verfication call on 9:45 ... A young lady ask for our senior manager

She asked our receptionist that she is from NADRA pakistan and want to talk to our senior manager ...

She discuss our clients, type of work, office complete name, company partners name and She also ask for reasons why our landline numbers are not on company's name.

--

2nd verification call 10:30

Again anther lady call on our 2nd second telephone number and ask for HR or Accounts Officer.

Our accounts officer talked to her.

she discussed the following things.

1. company NTN number
2. our director's name
3. company REGISTRATION reference number
4. number of employees
5. when company established
6. any other office in pakistan
7. how's many senior software engineers in the compnay.
8. my salary
9. my designation
10. my date of joining
11. my responsibilities.
12. how many employees working under me.
13. ASK my accounts officer to tell her his designation.
14. my accounts officer responsibilities
15. again ask our director's name
16. which person involove for the registration of this company.....
