Do HO not have my immigration history? I am on ILR and I can provide details for my last 3 applications accurately but rest of the years would be difficult as I don't have details.
I am in the UK for 15 years now. Its quite challenging to get all the accurate details. Please advice on the number of previous years I need to go back.
Visas on Passports or BRP, which OP will not have with him unless any copies were made when extensions were applied? If I am not mistaken extensions were given as BRP not on passport.aman90 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 8:51 pmhham1224 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 6:21 pmHi, I am applying for my naturalisation online and the question of previous immigration applications is not clear. Well all obviously.. exact details such as day or reference number isn’t important..
You are right.. they should have all the info anyways..
I really don’t know the purpose of this question.
But you should have all the visas on ur passports..
BRP’s are relatively new.. Yes SAR is an option if OP can’t even recall the years.. I presume one would need to state refused applications as well which won’t be on the passports..
OP stated he is in UK for last 15 years and BRP system was started almost 15 years ago, correct me if I am wrong,please.aman90 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 9:56 pmBRP’s are relatively new.. Strange.. I was never offered BRPs against any of my immigration applications from 2006 till 2016..
And the 1st BRP issued to me was in 2010and it was my 1st extension.
My first BRP was issued when I applied for PSW in Jan 2012.
Even my PSW was on BRP in 2012 followed by Entrepreneur(BRP), ILR(BRP) then Citizenship and Finally my Passport.
They were most likely having an IT system breakdown on that daytier11417 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 12:58 amAt least one should know his/her immigration history for example the category visa was applied and the year. This is no rocket science. I remember one weird IO at heathrow airport asking me what year I came as a student, which uni i went to and what was the address of the student accommodation I lived at!!! I went to uni in 2010 and the question was asked in 2016!!
