Good Morning All
We are in the process of completing my husbands indefinite leave to remain application form.
I have so far come across to questions I will need your help with.
1. My husband arrived in the uk September 19th 2014, his residence permit expires 30th September 2019.

2.Are we applying at the correct time?

3. The question on the form asks.
How long have you lived in the uk? What would be the exact answer?

4. Do you have family in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years?

Does this mean family in his country of birth or family he has since living here in the uk? Very confused. Also a similar question regarding friends.

Yes, he can apply for ILR anytime within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the date he entered the UK, so could have applied towards the end of August already.

3. The question on the form asks.
How long have you lived in the uk? What would be the exact answer?

Simply state the facts of how long he has lived. It isn't a trick question.

4. Do you have family in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years?

Does this mean family in his country of birth or family he has since living here in the uk? Very confused. Also a similar question regarding friends.

Country of birth or any other country (not UK) as the question states.

Thank you for your reply CR001.
I don’t mean to be a pain but I have found another issue that I require advise with.

For the financial part of the application my income mets the required amount, but my husbands does not.

Should I add his additional employment?
If I don’t will it be assumed that my husband is not working.

We do have a letter from his employer advising that he is employed.

You only need one of you to meet the requirement and put the details.

You can add it if you wish to but not mandatory.
