BRC (new pre-settled) route

Post by iwolga » Tue Sep 03, 2019 12:38 pm

Hi,

Those who received BRC as the result of pre-settled status application (and did NOT have EEA2 card before): do you have words like "family member of an EEU/EA/Swiss national" on the card?

The appendix EU pre or settled status cards do not state this piece as appendix EU is used under the UK immigration rules.

Thanks, but I don't have any BRC now: I just entered the country on EEA FP visa and I'm in two minds: shall I get EEA2 or EU Settlement scheme card.

My main problem with EEA2 is that my sponsor (husband) don't have EU ID card and he needs his passport for travelling. Now I was told by a consultant that I can provide a certified copy, but somehow I'm not really sure this will work
