MN1 success without ILR mother not settled

Post by jimmywaley2k » Sun Aug 04, 2019 5:38 pm

Hi all,
I got approval for my daughter's registration as British citizen yesterday.
Father: British
Mother: not settled (spouse visa)
Daughter age 4 years came to UK 10 month old on depend visa on mother.
I have had to request for reconsideration and the HO letter indicates a refund of my reconsideration fees
NB: 3 siblings are born in UK and are British Citizen.

Hi,

Would you please explain why did you apply for reconsideration? Did they reject the MN1 in first place by saying the child is not having ILR?

she was refused in line with my application refusal. I asked for reconsideration for her after my reconsideration was successful.

Oh I reckon the other kid did not need ILR in the first instance because the other three siblings are already British. So this route may not be suitable for only kid or kid having non -British siblings. Could any other members who avoided ILR and did the registration or senior members shed some light on this route.
