Sorry, may I ask how long the HO given to submit all this information?Brades wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2019 12:44 pmHi,
My company applied for my Tier 2 visa for last months allocation and they received a request from the Home Office for more details about my job, why I am needed for it and why they can't find a local to fill that roll. They are about to send it back (i believe) today or tomorrow - will this then count as part of August's potential allocation or will it be part of the September lot and will it being sent back after the 5th of the month affect it?
I have no idea. My company has been very ordinary at keeping me up to date on what is happening. I have been emailing to get updates rather than them giving me an update and then they get annoyed for me asking questions about their application for myself! I have no visibility basically and I've now been stuck in my home country since May waiting, wasting rent money on nothing.gustavomendes wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2019 1:44 pmSorry, may I ask how long the HO given to submit all this information?Brades wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2019 12:44 pmHi,

I'm in a similar situation and now the HR person who I was in touch is in annual leave... I don't know if the HO have requested for additional information/documentation and if there is someone able to provide so to the HO...Brades wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2019 1:59 pmI have no idea. PART 1 - Type of Job: A
• Shortage occupation: 320 points
• PhD-level occupation code and job passes Residence Labor Market Test (or an exemption applies): 175 points
• Resident labour market test met via the milkround, and the individual being sponsored meets the post-study work requirements(other than they will be applying for entry clearance rather than leave to remain): 30
• The job is in one of the following public service occupations: 30
• Job passes Resident Labor Market Test (or an exemption applies): 20 points
PART 2 - Salary: B
We will award one point for each £1,000 of gross annual salary, up to a maximum of £160,000. We calculate the salary in accordance with the rules in paragraphs 79 to 79C of Appendix A to the Immigration Rules –see ‘Salary information on a certificate of sponsorship’ for further guidance.
As per my knowledge, 20 points for Labor Market test pass and 12 points for Salary 32k. Please see below calculation information FYR.
Nope. it changed. Now you have one point for each £1,000 of salary. He should have 20 + 32 = 52 points. Shameej wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 2:39 pmSomeone posted the below information in this thread and got confused.
So if it's 32K salary , 20 labour market test + 12 for 32k : total 32 points?

Unintentionally being pessimistic, unfortunately, there is no deadline to the HO and it can take even though months... As you can see in the answer above (the guy waiting since July).
