Got my CoS towards the end of the month. Points 65, non everything.
All the best everyone.
Hi, there is a confusing for me to understand points calculation, could you please elaborate more about how your 65pts got calculated? I heard from August month salary calculation has been changed, please confirm.
These are the new calculations.
PART 1 - Type of Job: A
• Shortage occupation: 320 points
• PhD-level occupation code and job passes Residence Labor Market Test (or an exemption applies): 175 points
• Resident labour market test met via the milkround, and the individual being sponsored meets the post-study work requirements(other than they will be applying for entry clearance rather than leave to remain): 30
• The job is in one of the following public service occupations: 30
• Job passes Resident Labor Market Test (or an exemption applies): 20 points
PART 2 - Salary: B
We will award one point for each £1,000 of gross annual salary, up to a maximum of £160,000. We calculate the salary in accordance with the rules in paragraphs 79 to 79C of Appendix A to the Immigration Rules –see ‘Salary information on a certificate of sponsorship’ for further guidance.
