Address update on OCI

Hi all

I am getting contradictory information online, I read a document with OCI Misc services guidelines on VFS website where it was clearly stated that if we update address online, it doesn't need to be submitted to local mission via VFS. But after submission of update address application when it asked to print and submit to local mission, i am bit confused. Anybody got any experience or more knowledge to share here kindly?

I recently did a OCI re-issue due to new British passport using the Misc services.
All you need to provide is a self attested photo copy of a Council Tax Bill or Utility Bill when you submit it with the application form.
The new OCI card was issued with the new address
