Changing employers on Tier-2 General

Hi,
I am currently on Tier-2 General since Sept 2018, and now considering a job offer from a new employer who is willing to sponsor me. Problem however is that there is a slight change in job description/role From Senior developer to Lead UI Developer.

Question is - how does it matter if the job description/job roles/salary changes when switching employers ?

Please can you point to some guidance.

Also, is there a way to find out my current SOC code ? Looking back at the communication from my employer, I was only ever provided with a CoS reference number, not a letter/certificate for visa purposes.
