*Deferred complex mail from UK DMC*

Hello guys,

I applied for Super priority student visa (24hrs service) , did my biometrics on Monday 16th September. Got a confirmation mail from sheffield after which I got another mail from DMC titled "Deferred Complex " with the body of the message saying my application is not straightforward and hence won't be decided within customer set target. Yesterday, 17th September, they called again and interviewed me. Since then nothing from them. Has anyone experienced this on superpriority visa application? Should I be really worried about the delay or it's neglible? Actually, I'm worried! Application was done in Nigeria.

My amazing timeline..
1 July - online submission
4 July - biometric
4 July - Sheffield email
19 Aug - Escalate case - no respond
4 sep - my school escalate for me - they say will work on it
4 sep - email asking me to submit passport - I use keep my passport option
6 sep - submit passport
16 sep - call UKVI and they say decision not made

I don't think there is anyone here that have better solution but feel free to comment. Just want some ranting as it is unbelievable.

I can only rely on my school to chase them now. I even called the UK high commission in my country and its useless.

My flight is in a week. Just speechless with this timeline and not sure if I am even going over..
Hi, did you get your visa?

To whomever received the visa,
did you get an email saying your decision has been made or it is ready to pickup your passport?
I went to VFS center on 17th Tuesday but no any info as well. The staff said I should get an email if it is ready for pickup.

it has been 15 working days for me but i still haven't received anything, no interview. My uni said my CAS was marked " used" on 11th Sep.

Thanks for kind reply

Hey guys,

I applied from Islamabad, on standard service.
My timeline as follows:

28th Aug: Online registration
30th Aug: Biometrics and Interview
30th Aug: VFS conformation
2nd Sep: Sheffield email

Now it's the 19th and today is the 15th working day I've had no reply at all from anywhere, my classes start 23rd sep and it's really starting to make me anxious. I've tried tracking the application thru the phone line but Everytime they say ' your card has been declined' and I've tried like 6 different cards so pretty much stuck in a boat in the open sea.

No. I called and they say decision not made..

It really feel like a gone case, not because i am rejected for valid reason.

I did all i can and even the school chase them. I dont understand why is it like this.

Its looks to me you applied too early. Your intake is in October i guess ? So keeping in view vignette validity only 1 month, may be UKVI wanted to delay deliberately issuance of visa. My wild guess !

My start date is 29 september. So i applied within 3 month timeframe and not too early. No reason to delay any further as my school start in about 1 week time..

They did mention technical issue for mine. But they didnt follow up and no way to get the right person that can solve it. As you may know the call center dont do anything.

My time line:
online application: 27th Aug
Passport and fingerprint: 29th Aug
Sheffiled email: 2nd Sep
I went to VFS center this morning but still no update. The uni said my CAS is marked as "used" when I checked with them today.
Do you know if it means a decision has been made if it was marked as "used"?
Good luck everyone.

Just came to update my timeline:
I got the visa. My decision was made on 11th Sep but I only got passport on 20th Sep.
Good luck for the rest of you. Hope you can get it earlier.
