HSMP Approved

Post by Hector » Thu Mar 31, 2005 5:33 pm

Hello,

I submitted my HSMP application ( under 28 ) in early March.

My approval letter did not state how many points I was awarded (and for what categories),
just that my application had been approved.

Here's the timeline:

8 March 2005 - Application received by HSMP Team
16 March 2005 - Date on approval letter
29 March 2005 - Received approval letter in India with all original documents

Points claimed: 100

What I submitted:
AGE (5)
- Notarised copy of passport

UNIVERSITY DEGREE (25)
- Notarised copies of the degree certificates
- original academic transcripts from colleges showing details of subjects and marks obtained.

WORK EXPERIENCE (35)
- detailed employer reference letters on company letterhead outlining positions held,
dates on which they were held and a description of job responsibilities for each role with
specific emphasis that a university degree or equivalent experience is normally required for
each role (I wrote the letter, my employer signed them)
- Job adverts of employer(s) to show the qualification required.

EARNINGS (25)
- all pay statements for 2004 and up to the end of February 2005 (original)
- all bank statements for 2004 and up to the end of February 2005 with payroll deposits
highlighted (original)
- offer letters (original)
- letter from accountant (original).

SPOUSE (10)
- Notarised copy of marriage certificate
- employer offer letter and 3 payslips (spouse)
- Notarised copy of degree and official transcript in original (spouse)
- joint bank statement (original)
- letter addressed to spouse
- gas bill
These evidence did not prove that we lived together for 2 yrs so i presume i did not
get points for this category.

I did not claim points in any of the other categories.

I packaged the application in a binder with a covering letter, table of contents and tabs
to separate the different forms of evidence.

Last but not the least, I wud like to thank you all for ur immense help.

Cheers,
Hector
