Submission of AN Application

Thank you all for your support while i was applying for ILR. My Wife was granted ILR on the 21st of September 2019 (application made 15th July).

I am hoping you can help me now with the next process. We intend to apply for British Citizenship following the approval.

1. Can someone please guide me to the application form and guidance notes?
2. Wife has already passed the Life in the UK Test for ILR. Can this be used again or does this have an expiry?
3. Same applies for the B1 speaking and listening test as question 2.
4. My wife completed 5 years in April 2019. Can we apply for British Citizenship now or do we have to wait some time to apply?
5. How long is the residency report from the Estate Agent valid? (proof of who is living there and the space)
6. proof of living in the UK for 5 years - for ILR i had to provide letters and utility bills. are they requesting the same?

4. If you are British, then she is applying based on 3 years residence spouse of British Citizen, under Section 6(2) of the Nationality Act. If you are not British, then she has to wait 1 year on ILR.

5. You don't need it for citizenship. You are NOT repeating the ILR process.

I am British so she should be able to apply now hopefully.

She has no convictions nor she has any PCNs or points on her licence thankfully after hearing the horror stories of some rejections.

Note that she must also meet the 'physically present in the UK' at the start of the 3 years period on the same date she submits and pays online and meet the absence limits.

She will also need her ILR BRP card, so wait for that before applying.

I will read the guidance now, just printing it off and taking it away to study it further.

She has not traveled outside of the UK in the last 5 and half years. 5 years completed in April this year. Will that be okay?

2. do I need to state when she made initial application for spouse visa. FLRM and ILR?

What if you don't know the exact dates?

Why on earth would you need to “show previous application forms”?
You just need to state the all immigration applications you have ever made to the uk.
Have you actually seen the form?
It also says “if known” with regards to dates.
Presumably you would atleast remember the year you applied for each visa.

1. Her original Passport from 2014 which has expired, but has the date of entry into the UK
2. Her new passport
3. National ID Card
4. BRP for Indefinite Leave to Remain
5. Life in the UK test
6. Letter explaining how the test centre has used her first name as her last name vice versa
7. B1 Speaking and Listening Cert
8. She has never worked so no details for employment provided
9. Two Referees Declaration
10. Marriage Certificate - Urdu
11. Marriage certificate - English Translation
12. Husband (me) passport

Can someone just re-assure me i have not missed a important document? for Proof of living i have just provided the old entry passport which shows date April 2014.

Yes, minimal documents for citizenship. You are not repeating an immigration/visa application.
