Tier 2 depend Visa

Hello everyone

I have applied for my wife's tier 2 dependant visa extension on 30/07/2019 and biometrics taken on 08/08/19, I am still waiting for a reply.
Current Visa expired on 16/08/19.

Do I wait for 8 weeks or should I contact the home office regarding this (what is the email address to contact or phone number)
