Gross amount differs every month

Post by krssubbu » Fri Jul 18, 2008 10:18 am

Hi,

I am on a permanent job but due to overtime or some allowances my gross amount differs each month. for example, if i am on 24k then my salary per month is is £2000. but it always differs. sometimes i get 2010, 2090 or even 1900.

So will this be a problem for my extension.

Thanks

Hi,

It should not be a problem as I applied for new Tier 1 application and my gross salary was slightly different every month. I think this would be the case with most of the applicants

Regards
Ankur

Sorry for the dumb question, but need to clarify this:

Is gross salary the amount shown on the payslip before tax?

Also, in calulation of you earnings would you included the gross earnings or net earnings?

Both are fundamental questions. You need to study Previous Earnings section of Policy guide and UKBA.
