Its a tough verification call but its good that they clear all their doubts and its in ur favour that they asked each and everything...inshallah u will soon hear the good news....However iam still waiting for my passport...

yes i also feel its tough verification.... my accounts officer didnâ€™t expect such a detailed verification. My first call during is around 3 min. and 2nd call duration is around 20 min.

u have got work permit entry clearance if i m right? congratulations for that. i have also submited appication for work permit entry clearance on 24th of June and wating for reply. do u remember how many days it took to process ur application? and did they called ur employer for verification?

yar try to check in VAC directly ... i have observed some applicants get passport when personally visit in VAC but in website still old status shown.

Hi arahimpk.

I applied on WP basis from Khi, on 22 May, got varification call on 17th June and visa issued on 18 June, but passport returned to me on 2nd July.

I asked on 2nd July on call center they replied that your passport returned where as web site was telling same old story.

I dont know the reason to delay i return of passport? Strange isnt it?

Usualy; visa issued after day or two of varification, but as per experiance return to applicant taking longer then usual time at Gerry`s end.

If your application submit date has covered comlete 4 week time in waiting then it is worth to visit Gerry`s office to see if passport is returned?

I noticed there were several exampes in which passport was returned. Take your chances.

1. For accommodation letter; My employer sent me hotel booking for one month, which I submit with my EC application and clerly explained about accommodation arrangment made by my employer in covering letter.

2. My employer is world known company and they are known by every UK person, although contact detailed were mentioned in job offer letter, but they didnt contact my employer, as per my knowledge.

Finally the status of my application has been changed today. Thanks to Allah almighty this time my passport stamped for 2 year visa. when i applied first in the month of April my application has been rejected on a couple of basis. Alot of consultant recommend me go for the appeal but one of consultant recommend me go for the reapply you have all the valid documents there is no valid reason for rejection. So I go for reapply and this time God helps me. If anyone need some more info let me i know iam more then happy to help you peoples.

its great to hear this, these days Gerrys taking abt 10 days to return passport after the verification call. my call has been done on 14th so will check on Tuesday from Gerrys.

i have got 5 year work visa. today i checked status on web and it was change to collect your passport.

applied on 24th june
visa stamp 14th july
status changed on vfs site 18th july and collected on 18th.

Please share the objections from ECO when first time u applied & wat clauses he applied at that time.

How did u remove those objections in reapply???
