Advice on spouse visa

Post by Nellyb1979 » Fri Sep 27, 2019 7:07 pm

Hi I’m just after a little advice if someone can help. I’ve recently submitted a visa for my wife from Thailand to come to the Uk, and I just wanted to check (or a little comfort) that I had submitted all the evidence required.

I have submitted.

My passport & driving licence.
My wife’s passport & ID card, as well as previous passports with previous visa stamps.

Proof of relationship
Marriage certificate & registration both translated.
Photos of us together 1 page
Evidence of previous travel
Evidence of communication (line log for past few months).
Letter from a friend confirming he has been with us and knows us.

Accommodation
Mortgage statements
Land Registry document (first few pages).
Floor plan drawings from builder
Utility bill
Bank statement showing mortgage payment.

Financial
Appendix 2 I’m a non shareholder director.
So I have letter from employer confirming this.
List of people with significant interest in the company from companies house.
The companies last annual return this was in 2015, so I have attached the subsequent confirmation statements confirming no changes.
I have also done the above for our parent company to show I have no interest in that company.
Pay slips for last year.
Letter from employer confirming these are true and original.
Letter from employer confirming my contract details (employment/ job title, salary).
Bank statements showing original including signed statement from bank they provided these.

Education- language certificate for my wife.
Tb-certificate from the hospital in bk.

And finally my sponsor letter.

I can’t think of anything else, if there is something if someone could mention it, it would be appreciated as I have time to get it.

Many thanks

Firstly Thankyou for your reply.

On the photos I only did one page because I read some people say they didn’t want a load of photos just a few, but I will do another page. It won’t hurt and I’d rather get it right than wrong.

The TB test was done at the certified hospital in bk and on the certificate it says it’s for Uk visa.

The company I work for is not a family business. This was something I was paranoid about because I read a good bit up on this, and even though I’m only an employee of the company I have to prove that, so I’m hoping I’ve giving everything I need to prove that.

Once again thanks for your help.

If you are not paying your tax by yourself rather your employer is paying and your employer is not related to you then simply apply under category A/B with 6/12 months of payslips, bank statements and employer letter only. How long are you working with that employer and how much are you earning?

Just apply under category A and supply 6 months of payslips and corresponding bank statements and employer letter.

Yeah that’s what I have done.

I know no one can say but I would kick myself if there was something more I should have put or done to get it through. So I’m questioning myself and everything I’ve done.

Thanks for your help.
