HSMP March Applicants Post here -outside UK

I got approval yeh yeh.....now will wait for some time for fund maintenance and then apply for EC....
I have one problem in approval letter First line of address spells my name incorrectly...so I need to reprint it.....can anyone tell me how???

And what is the procedure for EC for HSMP holders??/

Hey KapilJha.. Congratz.. I too received my approval letter today..

Applied on 20th Mar 2008.
Approved on 10th Jul 2008.
Documents received on 14th Jul 2008.

I have to wait for MAintanence funds to be avalable in my account for 3 months. Haven't checked out the process completely. Need to investigate now on...

Docs received by HO: 19 March
Ref number received: 27 March (2572**)
Approved: 9 July.
I called them, so haven't received the docs/letter in the post yet. Still waiting for that. Now will have to apply for EC in three months.

Received an e-mail from the case worker to arrange courier pick-up.
Don't know the status of my application yet!

Courier will pick up the documents tomorrow afternoon and hopefully after that H/O will tell me the status. Will not be able to wait until Monday or Tuesday. It's too nerve wrecking!

Time line:
Application received: 25 March, 2008
Payment: 26 March, 2008

Called HO five hours ago. CS Agent said my application hasnt been allocated to a case worker yet. And also that they are working on applications for 26 March. Fingers crossed/twidling.

Time line:

Payment: 26 March, 2008

Now EC - have to do it from South Korea.

Application sent out from China: 7th April 2008
Received by Home Office: 11th April 2008
Fee debited: 14th April
Home Office email confirmed receipt & reference number: 22 April 2008 and said that they received my application on 15th April

Just checked on their website and there nothing has been updated and remained on 25th March 2008.

I will lost my job in the UK if I can not be back to work by 1st Sep. sigh!!!

If anyone here knows if EC will have to take 17 working days? some ppl in China got visa in 2 days, seems they did not send all the docs back to the UK for verification.
