I AM NOT CLAIMING POINTS FOR THIS EARNING BUT

I am on student visa and i was working in a company on part time basis for 8 months, I've earned handsome amount in that period, it was the marketing job and I've done marketing job as well in my native country for which i am claiming points, only difference in my native country job and in UK job is the PRODUCT, other wise its same MARKETING, so do i mention this in my covering letter, will it b beneficial for my application?if yes then what documents I've to submit, is P60 and employer letter enough?

My salary was deposited in my account by my employer so my bank statement shows that amount and in may08 I've resigned so from may till now there is no salary transactions in my account but the money I've earned is there so is that necessary to give justification of that amount?
