ILR SET (M) 5 years route

Post by Kindsoul » Sat Oct 05, 2019 11:30 am

Hi there,
I am going to apply set(m) in January using super priority service. In my second extension of flr(m) i used the premium service and i booked the appointment within 42 days before my visa expired and i took the premium center appointment not more than 28 days before.
My question is that now the service has been changed. Can i check or book the appointment in 42 days before my visa expired within 28 days

Can anyone please answer this . I am very confused in this . I will really appreciate. 🙏

You can apply anytime you want and you should book and attend the appointment within 45 days. You should aim to be eligible for ILR on the day of your appointment

Thanks very much for your prompt response. My visa is expiring 2nd of February 2020 so I suppose to attend and submit my application within 28 days however I am allowed to book an appointment within 45 days. Is that what you mean?

So if I book and submit my application with uploading all my documents in December But I will receive my last pay slip in January so will I be able to upload and submit my payslip and bank statement again online ? Hope I make sense .

The date of your application is the date of online submission. So the documents must be based on that date

The first visa granted date was: 2nd February 2015.

The second extension date was 24th July 2017 ending 2bd February 2020.

Thanks very much. So once I booked online appointment and paid fees do I have to submit my documents at the same time? The reason I am asking because I will be receiving my payslip and wages after 5th of January. Will I be able to do that since they brought new requirements of submitting documents online so little confused.

Regards

Your supporting documents must be dated on or before the date of online application.

If you get your payslip on the 10th, then apply on the 10th or 11th, for example, to include the most recent payslip.

The steps are as follows ;

1. Apply and submit SET(M) online.

2. You will be directed to the UKCVAS site to book your appointment.

3. Then you can upload your documents.

You cannot upload or book your appointment before you apply online.

Hi CR001, could I ask, since I have submited application too early and before the 28 days, I am planning to book appointment at a date within the 28 days and upload files and most recent payslips also within that date, is this a good idea?

Thanks CR001for your help. Sorry for bothering you many times so in the 3rd stage of uploading your documents;

Do we have time deadline to upload our documents (eg. Need to upload most recent payslip &. Bank statement)

Or we have an opportunity to upload documents before attending the appointment.

You upload only after you have applied, paid, submitted and booked your appointment. You must upload everything BEFORE your appointment but AFTER you have submitted and paid online.

Mortgage Payments

Post by Kindsoul » Tue Nov 26, 2019 3:16 pm

Hi,
We are preaparing for the ILR application under 5 yeras ( FMR M) rule in January. In order to provide the accommodation documents . We wil be showing the land registry document and the monthly payments towards mortgage.
However in 2018, we asked our bank to use our overpayment Pot ( we paid extra £10000 towards the mortgage) for that year and bank agreed to do . Then we have statred paying in year 2019 ( still being in surplus) . Hope i make sense.

Will that cause any issue?
We not not sure about it because we were just using our own surplus money in account to pay the monthly payments ( we re still in surplus for around £15000 as we been regularly paying extra paymets towards our morgage.

Thanks

How do you reckon it would be an issue?
Why would HO be interested in such info?
How would it impact a visa application?

Bcz I did not make monthly payments from April 2018 to march 2019 and ask them to take it from my overpayment Pot this statement shows no payment in mortgage statement.

Why would HO be interested in such info? Requirement to show Accommodation proof and how much we pay every month
How would it impact a visa application?
Sameas above

Naric Certificate English Requirement ( SET M )

Post by Kindsoul » Thu Dec 05, 2019 5:53 pm

I am preparing for the SET M and bit unsure about the English Requirement. During the last extension i have provide the Naric certificate ( bachelor degree) with C1 which is above the requirement and was accepted.
So
Can i use the same Naric Certificate for SET M application. Just want to get second opinion as most of the people here have done the B1 course to meet the requirement.

Also how do we answer the question below:
Did you meet the knowledge of English requirement as part of an indefinite leave appplication made on or after 28 October 2013?

This is my first time to apply for indefinite under SET M so not sure what shall i put here YES or NO?

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

choose yes if you meet the English language requirements and submit evidence.

Yes, use both naric comparability and c1 level letters

Thanks very much . If I choose Yes then according to the question I have already applied and used an indefinite leave appplication made on or after 28 October 2013 which is not correct as it will be my 1st time applying ILR under SET(M) and contradict the with the question asked.

This question was lifted from the naturalisation application form and shld remove the indefinite word from it . I spoke to CW and told me that choose yes and add evidence. The rule of this game is evidence:what ever option you choose make sure your add ur evidence
