Relax. That question has no effect on your ILR and it is not important at all

Zimba you can't believe your answer make me feel little good now. I was under impression that this question is regarding 5 years on Tier 2. So I visited couple of time my home and few times EU which I declare anyway on absences with letters from Employers. So during these five years I never actually lived (Which I can when you moved permentally) outside UK.

I have received email from home office this morning stating "Your application for indefinite leave to remain in the UK has been successful. You will receive your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) by courier within 7 working days." I am checking BRP site but it's still showing "We can't show your record" any reason?

Hi @Parkash1234
How did you manage the absence letter which employer refused to give you?
I have the same concern, my previous employer company is closed now.

Please write a brief letter and explain your holiday reason in there, also explain as previous company is closed so you would not be able to get absence letter.
I had one leave which employer refused to write as their HR system is refreshed and they can't see any approvals. I also attached email conversation with new HR. You would need basically good explanation and some kinda supporting evidence if possible.

Can you please ask your questions in your own topic you already have instead of tagging onto and hijacking another members thread. It is unfair to the original poster and considered rude and it creates confusion when members respond.

The absence letters have been in place as a requirements since at least 2010!!

I think you were just advised not to post your questions in someone else’s thread!
Plus CR001 already posted:
