Tier 2 Accommodation

Post by FakharEAlam » Tue Oct 08, 2019 3:18 pm

Hello,

Apologies if this has been asked before. I am currently in the process of applying for a Tier 2 Dependent Visa for my wife. My friend informed me about the requirement of a Property Inspection Report along with the usual bills and tenancy agreement to prove that you can accommodate your dependent.

My question is, is this a requirement for Tier 2 Dependent Visa as well? I have never seen it in the required documents but again it is not really clear as they say they need proof of accommodation. He is currently applying for a Spouse Visa (?) which I assume would have different requirements. Can anyone please confirm this.

Many thanks.

Many thanks for your response!

Would it have any significant bearing on the accepting or rejection of the visa?

No, don't worry. I have applied before without accommodation proof.
