Tier 2: Change of Employer

Hi all!

The search function is not working hence I thought I'd ask in here.

I'm currently sponsored but managed to find a new job in London and hence am going through the Tier 2 Process again as its a new employer.

My legal team have informed me the only test now is to make sure I pass the RMLT. Once completed, the application will take 8 weeks to process! Hence they have advised me not to resign until the visa is received.

I've heard stories that if I can walk into a visa processing centre in Liverpool and bypass the 8 weeks processing time altogether. Is this true?

Are there any other hurdles to overcome - I read somewhere on here someone got mysteriously rejected for a change in employer. They won't say why. Any reasons why?

1. Super priority service is a decision within 24 hours costing an extra £800. It is NOT a guaranteed service though.

2. Really, where did you read it?? Mk o one can comment on something if you don't post the link as often what is read is misinterpreted.
