Hello everyone,
Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere (done a quick search but didn't find any) but please i'm filling out the ILR (LR) form online.
Please how do I go about answering this question
Do you have any friends in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years?
List their names, where they live, how you are related to them, and what type of contact you have with them
what does it mean by type of contact?
and how many friends does one have to list?

That question is not important. Provide minimal info
Advice is given based on my personal research and experience only. Do NOT contact me via private message for immigration advice

As Zimba advised minimal info.
Phone, WhatsApp, email, Facebook, no contact, only meet when you visit etc.

Hello all,
Please would like your help again with another question.
is my reply good enough or too much?
Do you have any other reasons for wanting to stay in the UK?
For example, evidence of an active relationship with a child or parent or medical evidence such as evidence of serious ill health
I have lived in the UK for over 10 years now and I have developed loads of friendships and associations. My immediate family is also in the UK and my siblings and their families are all based in the UK. Being around my siblings is absolutely amazing and I do not see myself being able to settle anywhere else away from them after all these years of living close to them and also working in the UK

That’s really sweet.
Also totally unnecessary.
The first line shall suffice.

Thanks for the help so far on this forum.
Are you part of any social groups or do you have other cultural ties in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years?
please are religious groups eg being member of a church, mosque... deemed as social groups? or what sort of answer can I give to this question
Is there any other information about your character or behaviour which you would like to make us aware of?
please with regards to this would a 'NO' suffice or does one have to explain being of good character...
thanks

1- Answer no. Reason: Have cultural ties to the country as born there but not a member of any social group.
2- Answer no. No need to explain good character.

Thank you for the response.
Forgive my ignorance but will that suffice?
Are you part of any social groups or do you have other cultural ties in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years?
cos there seems to be two questions in one: country of birth and country you have lived for more than 5years (UK)
Thanks

so am I answering yes and then giving what you have said as the reason or am I just saying a No?
Please would appreciate clarity

I wrote exactly the same answer and got my ILR (LR) in July 2019. The question is not a mandatory question for ILR.

Please quick question.
When uploading documents online do I have to scan all the pages of my passport or just the biometric page will suffice?

All pages with stamps and bio page.
Thanks for your prompt response.
So if I get you right it's just the pages of my passport that have stamps and the bio data page I need to scan.
All other blank pages not required right?

One of the members reported that she/he scanned only the bio and stamps page and the case worker contacted them to ask for a complete scan of the passport. Now that can be one off incident. I personally scanned each page of my both passports. So i would say to scan each page including bio page as there is no harm in doing so. Providing limited information may result in further requests from the case worker.

I thought they scanned the originals when you attend the super priority.
Well better safe than sorry I suppose
Thanks once again

Good morning all
Thanks for all the info so far.
Please the consent form.
Do I need to scan all 3 pages seeing as I'm the only one applying or just the 1st page?

They will only scan the bio page and one or two other pages. Unless you buy a scanning service for £45.

You can fill in part 1, and if Part 2 and Part 3 are not applicable, just write N/A on Part 2 and Part 3 and scan and upload.
