Child born to UK student visa holder.

My friend is coming to UK in January on student visa. They are hoping to get PSW after studies. If they extend their student visa for more than 5 years somehow and they have a child born in the UK will their child get British citizenship if the child lives here for 5 years and do not get an Indian passport.
