Hi Miguel,
Looking at the statistics recently puslished by the Home Office (
https://www.gov.uk/government/collectio ... statistics), things do not bode well:
Total number of applications received by 31 October 2019: 2,450,500
Total number of applications concluded by 31 October 2019: 1,925,300
So 525,000 still need to be processed.
And apparently there was a surge in applications in October 2019, with a total of 590,300 applications (that number is included in the 2,450,500).
The figures show that the number of applications concluded in October2019 was 400,900 (that number is included in the 1,925,300).
Hence if they can only process 400,000 applications in a single month then with a backlog of 525,000 applications we should be looking at another SIX WEEKS before the backlog of 525,000 has been processed (based on a first in first out principle). As we both applied towards the end of the month, statistically we would be looking at a decision somewhere in the first week of December.....
Keep hanging in there - Rich
