Unmarried Partner on a visitor visa from the USA and sponsor is QP from Poland living/working here 12 years.

I hope my experience and timeline give some people hope. My application and situation was very complicated. Here's a small summary. I am not officially divorced but have been separated for 5 years with no contact. My divorce is in progress but has been very difficult because I didn't know where my estranged spouse lived. When applying I was only cohabitating with my partner for 6 months but have been in a relationship for 1.5 years so not even 2 years. We had no correspondence in both our names. What made all the difference I believe is our childs birth certificate who was born in Belfast showing shared parentage.

Bio Letter received: 2nd August 2019 ( but dated on the 30th July 2019)
Biometrics enrolled: 2nd August 2019
CoA without work received: 2nd August 2019 ( came with bio letter )
Documents & Decision letter recieved: 7th November 2019 ( dated 5th November 2019 )
BRP delivered: waiting ???

Decision letter stated residency card would arrive in 10 days but I'm sure it will be sooner then that ( like tomorrow. ) I also want to say I requested my sponsors passport and childs birth certificate back on the 4th November which my partner seems to believe helped trigger something but I think it was a coincidence. It has been a little over 3 months now since I applied and I couldn't be happier.

Update:

I'm non-EEA (Russian) married to EEA, who's QP in UK. I'm in UK on EEA FP.

My timeline so far is as follows:

1st Application posted on: 09/09/2019
1st Application Received by UKVI/HO on: 10/09/2019
1st Payment taken on: 11/09/2019
1st COA Without Work: 20/09/2019 (dated 17/09/2019). Reason for no work in COA - no original ID of sponsor
Documents Returned with rejection letter: 23/10/2019. Reason: No original ID of sponsor
My mistake was I believed if they acknowledged the lack of ID in September, they will not reject in October. 1.5 months wasted. Good that my husband received his National ID card in the meantime.

2nd Application posted on: 24/10/2019
2nd Application Received by UKVI/HO on: 25/10/2019
2nd Payment taken on: 28/10/2019
Bio letter: received: 6/11/2019 (dated 01/11/2019)
Bio submitted: 7/11/2019
2nd COA With Work: 21/11/2019 (dated 18/11/2019)
