p60s and job contract isn't required unless you are intending to use them as cohabitation proof.
While not explicitly mentioned in the Immigration Rules or guidance to provide these, it seems the document checklist generated by the online FRM application will request a P60 and employment contract if you specify using income to meet the financial requirement.
A lot of times an employee gets promotion in the form of salary increase/new job role which on many occasions doesn't correspond correctly to his contract for which employer letter dated within 28 days is mandatory to attach.

And regarding p60 it doesn't shows the correct actual earnings for immigration purposes because of containing the income of irrelevant period. And for same purpose the last 6 or 12 months of payslips are needed.

However both as above can be used as evidences of cohabitation instead.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Trust me, I understand all of that. I'm just explaining why people keep including them in document lists: it's because the UKVI application form is telling them to in relation to their employment and the applicant has agreed to supply the document in the application.

I can see that you are now a regular reader of board. Most of the members doesn't include both of these documents because of the previously told reasons. They are not mandatory. Also many times the checklists which gets generated on submission of application form asks a lot of documents which either none-relevant or none-mandatory.

Didn't say they were mandatory and when filling out the application form the questions make it clear those specific pieces of evidence are optional to provide. However, if the applicant checks the box agreeing to provide the document in the application form, it follows that the applicant should provide the document.

My Wife employer letter.

Also don't attach that because it can confuse to caseworker since you seems alone meeting the financial requirement.

HI,
Another thing I am not sure about is , As I am submittimg few bank statements for cohabitation document. The bank statements are 10 -15 pages long , do I have to submit whole month bank statement or the first page of the bank statement is enough. As the first page contains address and statement date.
Please advise.

Only those pages with address & name only because you are not using them as a proof of finance.

Hi,
Just in final stages of submitting application for my wife. The cohabitation documents we collected are as follow:

Nov 2017 - 1 each (wife and mine ) - 2 Documents
March 2018- 1 each (wife and mine ) - 2 Documents
June 2018 - 1 each (wife and mine ) - 2 Documents
Oct 2018 - 1 each (wife and mine ) - 2 Documents
Jan 2019 - water bil on joint name - 1 document
May 2019 - 1 each (wife and mine ) - 2 Documents
Sep 2019 - 1 each (wife and mine ) - 2 Documents

I have spread evenly past 2 years but I got 13 documenst instead of 12 , all togather , are they ok ?

Also just to confirm documenst are from 4 different sources, like mine are:
1-Electric Bills
2-Credit card Bill
3- Vodafone broad band bill
4- Water
Wife
1-NHS letter
2- General Medical council letter
3- Bank statelemt
4- water

Are these sources and number of sources are correct?

Thanks

Bank statement

Post by xrootx » Wed Nov 06, 2019 8:26 am

Hi All,
Another confusion I just want your openion.
I get my bank statement yearly , last one I got was Aug2018- Aug 2019 as yearly pack. I need to submit bank statements from May 2019 - Oct 2019. Will it be ok to take May 2019 - Aug 2019 from this pack , the reason I am asking this question is as the whole pack is page numbered like 1 of 100 , so If I take part of this pack it will be like numbered lik 50-100 etc.
Should it be ok ?

Thanks

No issue. Most importantly the transactions/entries must cover the full required period i.e 6 months. Also remove all unnecessary pages. Some banks depending on individual banker's mood can even print the last 6 months statements inside the branch.

Hi,
Thanks for reply. Yes I went to my branch , they said they can print but all statements will be or normal papaer not on letter head. So thats why I didnt wanted to take risk. Thast fine now I can use statements from my yearly pack.

Thanks a lot.

HI,
I submitted applicaton last night , by mistake i answer the question below "NO".

Is the account with a bank or utility company for No
which you have supplied information and
supporting documentation held jointly by you and
other people?

One of the watre bill is on joint name and we are using that as cohab doc. is this going to cause any problem. Or should we dont send the watre bill , replace it with any other utility bill that is on not on joint name.

Also we answer "YES" to the following questions :

Does the account with the bank or utility company
for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation relate to another person
who is to provide you financial support?

I will provide a declaration signed by each of the Yes
customers on an account with a bank or utility
company relating to another person who is to
provide me with financial support

at the ned of application I downloaded two PDF documnenst to sign one is "Family consent" and other is "Family Declaration".

just wan to confirm evenrything is ok and we didnt miss anything.

please help.

Thanks

If you answered that you receive financial support from a third party for a bank/utility account, even if incorrectly, they will likely also be looking for the third party consent form to be signed. It may be worth clarifying your mistakes in a cover letter and make sure to include all three consent forms with signatures on the appropriate ones (sounds like Part 1 and Part 2).

After biometrics appointment you only have to wait until gets asked for additional documents/decision.
