Help for FLR Plz

Post by msc123 » Wed Nov 13, 2019 3:48 pm

Hi,

I have been reading some of the posts and gained valuable information. However I need some clarity on some issues which I am unsure about.

My wife came to the UK on 03/08/2017 and it's getting near to applying for FLR.

My wife will be here for 30 months on 03/02/2020. I have heard someone say that it is possible to apply within 28 days of reaching 30 months, which would mean that I could apply the earliest from 06/01/2020 instead of waiting until 03/02/2020.

I have some questions, please could you help me.

1.) If one can apply within 28 days before 30 months is complete for FLR and also apply 28 days before 60 months for ILR, would that not make it short by 56 days?

2.) My December salary is paid one week earlier due to Christmas, so I will get paid on 23/12/2019. That would mean my final 6th salary would be 43 days from the date 03/02/2020 where my wife reaches 30 months. Is it an requirement for last salary to be within 28 days too?

I know bank statements and letter from employer must be within 28 days, what about last pay slip?

3.) I took my wife to Dubai for 3 weeks in 2018, would this effect the 30 months residency?

Thank you and would appreciate any assistance.

1. 28 days concession will be allowed on both occasions.

2. If you are working with your employer from longer than 6 months then based on your plan to apply on 06/01/2020 your payslip dated on 23/12/2019 is still under 28 days.

3. No

Thanks for replying.

Do the 28 days start from the date application is submitted and paid or when biometrics are done?

Is it ok to do biometrics a few weeks later, even if 28 days have passed for the documents?
