Tier 2 Dependent Extension After main applicant on ILR

Post by szmkhan » Thu Nov 14, 2019 5:09 pm

Hi
I need help in regards on tier 2 dependents extension as if i get tier 2 ILR,

I have completed my 5 years as on tier 2 and now due to apply for ILR
My Questions are about my dependents

Dependents tier 2 visa is valid till 30 July 2020 and their 5 years will complete 22 November 2020.

Q1. If I Apply for Tier 2 ILR now, what will happen to my dependents ? will their visa be remain valid till 30 july 2020 or i have to apply for them after getting my ILR.

Q2. Do They need to apply for extension before 30j uly 2020 or can apply for ILR although 5 years will complete in November 2020.

Thanks and regards

Q1. Nothing will happen to them. They simply stay on the same visa.

Q2. You will need to apply for a 3 year extension before their visa expire to cover a few months as they are short of the requirement for ilr. They just have valid visas to apply for ilr.

What was the initial visa issue date for the dependents?
