Will spouse still require a Schengen visa after obtaining ILR?

Hi, a quick question as I couldn't find an answer on the forum.

My spouse is currently in the process of applying for ILR. Once she has obtained settled status, will she still require a Schengen visa to travel in the EEA if I am accompanying her on the trip? (I am a British citizen)

ILR is only relevant to the UK.

If she usually requires a Schengen visa, then holding ILR does not change that.

Once she has ILR, she can apply for British citizenship immediately if she meets the requirements.

Currently some members are getting approval within 6-8 weeks, so worth doing as soon as you can then you are all done and dusted with HO.

Sorry, just one further question. If the applicant has just had biometrics done for an ILR application do they need to be done again for the citizenship application?
