Returns Filing-Self Assessment

Hi All

My husband is on Tier 2 General Visa .
All the tax payments are up to date as deducted by his employer.
Does he need to file his Returns.
He has not submitted his Self Assessment .
Could some one kindly advise.
Not sure whether this will impact our ILR.

No requirement to do self assessment or tax returns if he is a PAYE employee.
