Visitor visa to UK from India

Hi Guys,

Hope you all doing good. I am planning to apply visitor visa for my dad and mom. They both approved once in 2016 but just my mom travelled to UK as planned. My father didn't travelled because of family reasons. Now I am planning to bring them both. Will Home office reject my father's visa application because he got one in past but he didn't travel?

Is there any letter we need to attach explaining about why he isn't travelled previously?

Also I got one more question. My Indian Passport expired and just renewed this month. In the visitor visa application there is a section about my passport details. Do I need to provide my old passport details or the new one?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Unlikely.

I had 2 UK visit visas that I never used, one Schengen and one US. I have never had any issues with new applications afterwards. Circumstances change. As long as you don't break UK immigration laws, keep to what you said in the visa questionnaire (ie not overstay), even HO accepts that we are all humans.
