it takes week or 2 for acknowledgement.. about temp stamp there are two things.. First when you are submitting application mention in your cover-letter that your stamp is going to expire so issue you temp stamp... second when your stamp is going to expire send them letter and they will send you temp stamp..

in your case I'm assuming you will get with your temp stamp with ackn within week or two, if your solicitor mention about your visa is going to expire..

I ask my solicitor about decision time. He said it can take upto 1 year or 2 to 3 weeks minimum in case where we do not have strong documents to support our application. I ask for temporary stamp and they replied that my stamp eufam is still valid for 1 year till I get a decision on my application. :)

On my letter they wrote to submit documents in 30 working days. And told that decision will be issued soon. Is it good idea to travel for 3 weeks out of country and informing solicitor before fly?

@usmanch313 : did your friend apply for citizenship while waiting for response?? I'm thinking as per eu5 he apply retention after 3 year of mrrg then divorce will take almost an year, means technically he apply after 4 years on stamp4eufam.. so if its correct till now he should be eligible to apply for citizenship..
