FLR M application

Post by strada » Sat Nov 02, 2019 8:03 pm

Help needed please

I am applying online for my spousal visa extension and just paid the immigration health surcharge, but there are some aspects of the application I needed to edit and add more details. Is there anyway I can go back to re-edit before making final payment and submitting. Thanks

If when using the link to return to your application you are unable to access previous questions, then no, you would not be able to edit anything. Can't recall for sure, but I think once you get to the pay screen, it is expected your application has been finalised. Depending on what it is you wanted to add or change, you may be best addressing this by including a cover letter with the supporting documents.

Thanks @geoeng, I taught there would be the last chance to look through and edit, but anyway your suggestion makes sense and I would include a cover letter.

Thank you.

FLR (M) Document checkist cohabitation

Post by strada » Mon Nov 04, 2019 7:58 pm

Hi All,
I have 2 questions that I need help with :

1)My previous spousal visa was granted in June 2017 and expires in Dec 2019. My first question regarding cohabitation documents has to do with timing. Will the Documents to be provided for 2 years start from June 2017 - June 2019 or Oct 2017 - Oct 2019 as I am applying in Nov 2019?

2 ) These are my current documents all in Joint names

1) Council Tax April 2017- March 2018
2)Bank statement June 2017 - Sept 2017
3) Gas Bill Sept-Dec 2017

4) Council tax April 2018 - March 2019
5) Bank Statement Jan - March 2018
6) Gas Bill March - October 2018

7) Council Tax April 2019 - March 2020
8 Bank statement Jan - March 2019
9) Gas Bill April - June 2019

Is this sufficient for submission, I am concerned about the council tax as it covers yearly. Thanks House.

Hi Seagul,

You mean Oct 2017- Oct 2019 is the correct one right?

Count backwards 2 years from the date of application.

3 different sources are fine but along with council tax annual statement attach few other joint/single named documents too because despite the council tax statement covers the whole yearly bill but for cohabitation purposes only its date of issuance will matter which will only cover a maximum of next 3-4 months because even gaps of 3-4 months are allowed.

Thanks once again @ seagul.
All our utility bill comes in joint names and we have British Gas, affinity water, joint bank statement and council tax.

Also regarding English language requirements, while filling the online form O stated that I have a degree taught in English but do not meet English language requirements. But on the mandatory documents it’s asking for Naric equivalent of degree.

Tick no or leave blank for the degree if you are using an English test.

Ho don't care about your qualifications. The question is only relevant to meeting the English requirement.

Thanks @CROO1, it’s the FLM online form, I have paid the immigration health surcharge and can no longer edit my answers, so leaving blank the degree is no longer possible

You need to answer no because with leaving blank you might not proceed further.

The application is already completed as we speak and can no longer edit. It allowed me the option to add my English Language A2 test reference number. Just surprised it’s also asking for Naric in mandatory documents

As long as you have added the details (UKVI refere number) of A2 test on the application form then it should be fine.

Thanks @ Seagul

On the financial requirements side of thingd

I get paid monthly salary on the 15th. My visa expires on the 12th December and I believe there is also a 28 days Rule on documents to be submitted including payslip and bank statements. Now by the tine I submit on the 14th November to meet the 28 days submission rule then my payslip for October 15th would have been over 30 days. Now I’m really confused . Do I need to wait and get my November payslip before submitting?

Apply after you get the November payslip.

Your supporting documents must be dated on or before the date you submit and pay online.
to meet the 28 days submission rule
It is applying WITHIN 28 days and before visa expires. It is not applying ON the 28th day.

Hi Moderators,

I have just received an email from the HO after submitting my application via super-priority that I did not meet the English language requirement.

I have included the Grade 3 GESE CEFR LEVEL A2 WITH distinction.

Please help is this not the correct test?

Looks like the required test.

What exactly did HO say?

Who provided the test and where was it taken?

What evidence of the test was submitted, the certificate or the reference number?
