Dependant child with father, mother changed to tier 2 general

Dear all,

I have applied for an extension of my dependant child (leave to remain). At the time of last application, my wife was also my dependant, however, she has to apply for her own tier 2 due to employment requirements. Now, I have finished the application and paid the fee but there was no question asked about the mother and neither any document was sought. AFAIK, both parents have to be in the UK if they apply for the dependant child's leave to remain.
My question is - should I voluntarily upload my wife's BRP and visa in addition to the mandatory documents OR do nothing as it's not being asked.

Upload it. It is better to give both parents right to stay in UK in child application.
