The visa center sent you that your application is nearly over?
Is this like a tracking service?

Because when we contacted UKVI regarding my application they gave the usual answer (under process and waiting for decision) paid 5 £ for that answer
And it turned out it was finished !!!
The date written on letter that was with my passport was the same date I emailed them 🤔
And I didn’t receive decision has been made email

I really dont know. It just said that they will email me soon to collect my passport or the courier option. Fid you recieve your visa hun?

Than you are almost there
It should be within this week
I hope you get the visa 🙂

Alhamdullah I received my passport and visa today
How long was your wait?

Oh sorry to hear that

When I was preparing my application I read someone’s experience
He said that he’s wife visa was refused but he was sure that it was a mistake
So he emailed them and attached all the payslips that the said they didn’t receive and also involved the MP and it actually worked the refusal was over turned and he didn’t need to appeal

————

Here is another person with same situation and she advised the next:
Try to email the below emails. Also. I suggest to contact your MP. but if you were advice to appeal, don't appeal since it's not your fault. Also if you send email, attached all the documents they said were lacking plus all possible evidence that send them like table of contents, cover letter if you mention there, a video if you made a video when you open the documents when they returned it to you.

If you have a lawyer Im sure he knows better then me
But doing this will not harm you
If you are 💯 sure that your documents were complete and you provided everything
U can do it will preparing for the appeal
U never know what could happen

I hope that helps you and you get it soon
I will pray for you 🌹

Hey,
I’m waiting to a decision, but I wanted to know if there is an option to get to a link and see the process/what the status of my application.
We did it with lawyers

Hello,

When was you biometric?
Priority or standard?

If you mean like a tracking service unfortunately there no such option
It would have been less stressful if there is tracking
However they do let u know when they receive ur application
And when they start processing it
And when the decision is made

Good luck 👍🏼

I did it on normal and i did not get any non straight forward email. It took us 8 weeks to get a response from them. I just checked and by mistske i truly didnt send the payslips . It was by accidenti thought i sent it. They will understand a human mistake right. Just that my husband was refused. Its so sad because i know some people if they are missing a document Ho gets in contact with them. And i gave everything just the payslips.

Didn't u miss 2 calls from unknown number? Maybe they did try to contact u for pay slips and if they didn't then that's wrong as they really should respect that people time and money gone into this so rather than reject they should have asked for the payslips

Has anyone gone through the appeal process or do you know anyone who was successful? Also they should have asked if everything was there excpet that they make mistakes themseleves so why is it a biggy when we do? Please can you help me in anyway?

Hi Remti

I am by no way an immigration advisor and will only say the following based on what I’ve read previously.

Firstly, did your refusal letter state you meet all other requirements? Was the refusal solely based on missing payslips?

If yes and you meet all other requirements, would it not be better to make a fresh new application if you are able to do so financially? (Considering that an appeal can take longer than necessary)

Yes sis i did recieve miscalls but it wasnt from them because the decision was already made before this miscalls which indicated that it wasnt them.

I can type up my refusal letter and yes so far of what i understood it was just the payslips.
Ms1993 have u recieved your husbands visa?
So I suppose what I said about reapplying still stands especially if you meet all the other requirements - please take advice on this? May save time with an appeal!

Sadly no response yet - biometrics on 18/09, case not straight forward received on 56WD (3 days after interview)

Praying for a miracle tbh

I hope so, I’m leaving it all in Allah’s hands - His will is my will

Eliza K mentioned the age difference - I think for us he was in the U.K. previously (no breaches etc just complicated) so checking further I guess

IELTS is 12 months if I’m not wrong, expiry date should be on the certificate if you have the copy?

Amen. I can feel your pain, Allah will not disappoint you, He will soften the heart of whoever is handling your application to tender mercy on your case. There are some application that are very complex but were granted visa at the end of it. With the interview you did which you said it went well, I believe soon, Allah will put a smile on you on or before mid January. In Shaa Allah.

Thank you Pawson, you have a heart of gold.
God willing, the response will be given at the time that is best for us - that is our belief. A delay has blessings in it and we must continue to wait 🙏🏽
The not knowing and praying that if it was a refusal, I would rather know now to be able to plan and then I wonder if they were to reject it, they could have done it sooner? (Possibly making myself feel better with this!)

I wondered Pawson if you don’t mind, your VAF number you received - did this match to any visa acceptance docs? Eg did it match any number on the BRP?
