Yes it is stated in my contract/it is a part of it that every year I will get £4300 shift allowance spilt in 12 monthly payments. I work 4 days on and 4 days off 8am-8pm, hence the shift allowance as it is classed as unsociable hours.
Both (£18360+4300= 22660) will fall under salaried person.

In general, it appears any contractual allowance will be accepted. See Section 5.5.24 from page 35 of the guidance document linked below, which discusses basic pay, skills-based allowances and location-based allowances as well as overtime. Shift allowances are not explicitly mentioned but there's no reason they shouldn't be considered in the same way as other allowances or even accepted as non-salaried income the way overtime is (because you earn the same amount every month, the annualised average works out the total you would get in a year). Agreed that you should separate out the basic and shift allowance amounts in your employer letter and cover letter (if including) so it's clear.
It is simply the part of wages where you get paid with premium rate if you work during unsocial hours. Also a lot of employers pay at double rate if you have to work on bank holidays.
