ILR - Main Applicant plus dependent

Post by adithi10 » Mon Jan 06, 2020 8:10 pm

Hi,

Me and my spouse is eligible to apply for ILR. My spouse came to UK as T2G towards end of December 2014 as well as me as his dependent. We are applying for the ILR together, so I have kind of a stupid question :D

Are we both required to fill in separate Set (O) forms or only the main applicant needs to fill in set (O)?

Kind Regards,
Addy

Thank you for your response.

Since we dont have any joint bills i saw in gov.uk website that " if you and your partner have no bills or correspondance in joint names, you will need to submit twelve items (six each) of correspondance, evidencing that you reside together at the same address."

So if am correct we both need to show 6 correspondance for past 2 years for the following months:
Jan 2018 - tv license
Mar 2018 - hmrc letter
May 2018 - bank statement
July 2018 - payslip
Sept 2018 - electricity bill
Nov 2018 - water bill
Jan 2019 - tv license
Mar 2019 - hmrc letter
May 2019 - bank statement
July 2019 - payslip
Sept 2019 - electricity bill
Nov 2019 - water bill
Jan 2020 - bank statement

Also, does it need to be from 6 different source or can 4 be from different source and 2 evidence from same source?

Kind Regards,
Addy

Hi,

There is a question "Have you had any absences from the UK during any leave granted since 11 January 2018?"

my initial brp was issued on 24th Dec 2014 and extended it in December 2017 which is valid till July 2020.

So will my answer be No as I had my brp issued before 11 Jan 2018?

Kind Regards,
Addy

Thank you for the response.

My spouse, who is the main applicant, he has only following Co habitation documentation under his name for 2018 and we don't have any joint ones. We have more than enough for 2019 and 2020.
- HMRC Letter
- Payslip

Can he include travel insurance letter as one of the address proof. I suppose he cannot use bonus letter he received from company as the payslip and bonus letter is same source and HO needs atleast 3 different source.

Regards,
Addy.
