Hi,
just to share friend's story who was a non eu overstayer of uk work permit married to eu in uk in 2018. they moved to ireland and got stamp in jan 2019. once got temp stamp 4 in march 19, they moved to uk without eea family permit in june without getting full irish residence card but full card arrived(3 weeks after they left) so after total of 5/6 months application time. they collected full card and used to apply for surinder singh in uk in september 2019 and got biometrics done same september. coa given in october 2019 working rights. full uk residence card in jan 2020. this means no questions of centre of life test. may be ruling from october 2019 for centre of life test is being considered for direct family members.
friend is asking now what to do with brexit and new uk full residence card expiring in 2025. is eu scheme next so retain rights to reside in uk next?
