Long absences from the UK under Tier 2

Hello everyone!

I've been in the UK for 12 months under Tier 2, and in a couple of months, I'm going to be spending more time outside the UK as I'll need to work alongside one of our company's nearshore teams in Ukraine. Will I have any problems entering the UK after being absent for 1-2 months? I'll still be employed by the same employer and those will be paid business trips. Do I need to prove it at the border?

I'm not pursuing the ILR so my only concern is entry clearance if absent from the UK for more than 180 days per any rolling period.

There should not be any problem, the officers check the expiry date on your BRP on return. They "may" ask questions about your long absence but you just answer it was a business trip.

The only problem might be ILR which you said you don't pursue.
