I too is waiting for a decision on my case, paper application sent off around 25 Nov, biometrics done 7 Dec and COA received by post 3 Jan. Now waiting for the decision.
Calling the resolution center not very helpful any update request is always "under consideration or being processed" nothing more and nothing less, I read here that a lot of people have been waiting for several months back to back with no contact from a case worker, I think this is wrong especially seeing how much faster most EU citizens are having their decision provided. I assume while there may be a lot zambrano applications being made, we are probably still a small percentage of the entire scheme, we can't really be expected to wait quietly for months with life on pause.
Have anyone ever been able get another response from the resolution center when you phone?
Do you think calling up persistly helps at all?
Have any one even been contacted by a case worker about their case?
To those who have settled their cases, did you get your decision by Post, phone or email?
To those still waiting how you handling the process?
Best wishes to all..

Do u have leave to remain already or u have drv card?
No I don’t have any leave to remain or drv. I came in on a visitor visa and applied for zambrano under EEA. It was refused as I was asked to apply under domestic laws but I applied to the settlement scheme instead

Wow 3 months to receive COA. It’s looking like 5/6 months is the average wait time for a decision. Are you able to work with your COA?

Ngoo wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 10:29 pmHello everyone!
I have been following this forum for some time.
I am a parent of 2 British children born age 15 and 13years. My 2nd ltr under parent route will run out on the 14th of this month. I applied online for the EU settlement scheme cos I had no idea of the paper application form.
Timeline:
Applied online-23rd of November 2019
Biometric- dated 12th of December
Biometric done - 16th of Dec.
COA- dated 4th Of Jan 2020
My question is , can I present the COA to my employer as I have tried to check it online and can only see my Ltr which will run out in 2days.
Another question, I want to also applied for the derivative residence card for myself and my 2 younger kids would this be the best option?
I do apologise for bombarding you all with so many questions.
And lastly what will happen if i don’t continue with the 10years route? Many thanks
that means you have been a primary carer for 5years depending on the date he was registered as a Bristish Citizen. You will get a settled status if all things goes well. I wish you wellNgoo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2020 10:48 pmHello Billyosa! Thank you for your response.
The EU settlement team sent me an email today to give them a call. I called them and they told me that they will send the paper application within 10 working days. I have applied for the derivative card today and I did the application with my 15yrs old son. He became a British Citizen since April 2015.
Hi KnikksKnikks wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 6:56 amHi everyone,
Been an active reader for a while, will like to provide my timeline for Zambrano application for those who has been waiting for over 6months
Paper application: 6/06/2019
Biometric: July 2019
COA: July 2019
And no message up till now, each time I call they keep giving the same information of it being with the caseworker and under active consideration...sometimes it will be so unfortunate to speak with some rude staff..I was able to speak with someone yesterday who made it clear that “the scheme is a Uk law not EU law hence has no time frame” all he can say is that to keep waiting until they get back...the wait is so exhausting
Congratulations, did you get your application decision by email, post or phone.Sunflower2 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 12:56 pmHi to all,
This is my unbelievable timeline, not to put off anyone but to give hope to all who is waiting:
Paper Application: sent off 13th December
(my lawyers had requested a copy earlier on in the year but we did not apply then as I was waiting to be 5yrs under the Zambrano)
HO Received it: 20th December
Biometric done: 30th December
COA: 4th January
Received Settled Status: this morning 14th January
The whole process took 1 month.
I think it’s because I went straight in to apply for Settled Status instead of applying for the 10 yr 2.5) route although I was qualified to do so. Am not too sure.
I still cannot believe this and I thank God for his mercy. I pray that all of you get through soon.
Nice, great energy to start your year...Sunflower2 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 1:31 pmBy post. Additionally I was able to view it online as well.
