Appointment confirmation letter

Does anyone know if the appointment confirmation letter (the one with the QR code) must be printed out? or Can be shown from your phone?

In this case, the appointment is at the office in Croydon.

Well, I attended the appointment and I can confirm that you don't need to print out the confirmation letter.

They can read the QR code and other details of your appointment directly from your phone.

Obviously when there's a QR it can be scanned from an screen or a print! Just like anywhere else.
