Yes flrm visaLoulou65 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 12:56 pmHi guys, I would appreciate your help here. I have a Spouse/Partner Leave to Remain visa. I entered the UK on 18/05/2018 and my BRP expires on 01/02/2021. What visa do I need? Do I need to apply for the FLR(M) visa? And when do I need to apply for it? Thanks for your help.

Seagul, that last part confuses me a bit. So does that mean I have 4 months from expiry of BRP to apply?seagul wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 12:59 pmYes flrm visaLoulou65 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 12:56 pmHi guys, I would appreciate your help here. You can apply 28 days before completing the 30 months from date of entering to uk until the last day of expiry.
You can apply 28 days before completing 30 months from the date of entering the UK. But unless the visa rules including fee change usually from April or personal circumstances not changing then preferably the extension should be applied very close to visa expiry to avoid any shortfall.Loulou65 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 2:38 pmSeagul, that last part confuses me a bit. So basically then, if my BRP expires on 01/02/2021, I could start my application in January 2021? What happens if I haven't heard back or no decision by the time my visa expires? Can I still stay in the UK and keep my job while I'm waiting for a decision? And is there a section in the forums that tells you what documents you need to provide? Nothing happens. You wait to hear back. What happens if I haven't heard back or no decision by the time my visa expires?
Yes, you are protected under section 3C of the immigration rules while an application is pending and your visa has expired. Meaning your existing visa conditions continue. Can I still stay in the UK and keep my job while I'm waiting for a decision?
100s of topics about this. All the same sort of documents as you needed for your original visa, ie financial requirement, English requirement and you will also need 2 years proof of cohabitation evidence in both your names from 3 to 6 different sources. And is there a section in the forums that tells you what documents you need to provide?
