Please I've got a question. Can I use the same passport photo which I used for the naturalisation application for the British passport application or do I need to get a new passport photo?

You can use the same photograph if it complies with the guidance (https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... 9__web.pdf), page 19, and your appearance hasn't changed drastically, though the booklet doesn't comment on that.

Are you making the application online ? It’s £10 cheaper, and you can Literally use your phone to type take a fresh picture for the passport application, and how long ago was the picture taken for Naturalisation application? If it’s within 3 months than use the same picture if not than get a fresh one. I used my phone for my partner application and for mine i used a photo booth in Boots shop and you get a code on too the printed pictures and you can put that code into your passport application and pictures will be uploaded directly on to your online application. Watch a youtube video which has recently been uploaded applying for first british passport, pretty good video and it’ll answer most of you questions.

Thanks a lot. Yeah I’ll be using the online application method. I got the last passport photo late Oct 2019 so I think I need to get a new one. I just found a guidance for the passport application, and it say the photo must have been taken within the past month.
