Dear Atul,

There is an error in the website figures. They should actually read
the
12th of June and not July. Consequently your application is still
presently
awaiting caseworking. I apologise for the confusion; our website
providers
have been made aware of this and will correct the information.

I hope this is helpful.

Regards,

conflicting messages

Post by guest 000 » Fri Apr 08, 2005 2:45 pm

Hi,
I also got conflicting messages. I requested for my reference number and got 2 different reference numbers from 2 different customer service officers and a more conflicting message from a third stating that the first ref no was mine and the second was from an earlier application.

Help me this is my first application.

I would say the correct one is the first one. Its not that i am being optimistic or anything but you will find that there is not many June applicants who are still waiting for decision and we have already had quite a number of July ones (even as far as 16th) who have recieved decision, of course this forum does not cover everyone but I can say it is pretty accurate in terms of information provided.

Of course if the decision was posted to you on the 6th then depending on you location you should be expecting it any day now. I suppose if you can, you can phone them to find out. and the first email has provided with a 2nd number 0114 259 4074 and the one that most pple have been using
0114 259 1894, good luck with the decision tell us more when you get it

Dear Atul,

I fully agree with f2k, as i even heard 2-3 different replies from different people at WP Customer email address.

FIrstly i was told that my application is alloted to a case worker and decision is not yet made. After a few days, when i asked whether my decision was made, they had lost my ref no (which was really there in that same email), when i provided them the Ref. no. again, they said now HSMP team will reply and next week WP Customer replied saying they are currently workign on the applciations recieved on the week starting on 12th June. But this is completely a fake statmwent, as there can not be any week starting on 12th june, because week starts ( i think everywhere on this earth except Muslim countries on MOnday, and UK has definately weekends on sat-snuday) on omnday and 12th June was a Saturday.

So, they are just bluffing and trying to cover tyheir misdtakes. They have definately done some great mistake and hotchcotched the applications for processing.

SO, best reliable (or say availabel reliable) media is the telephone, just call them and confirm the exact status, as when i called i was informed that my application is still pendiong for the allotment to caseworker.

All the best
