Tier 2 Visa UK and travel to Republic of Ireland

Hello

Greetings.

I have a tier 2 UK general visa. I need to travel to Dublin on work.

Can I apply using e-visa or need a face to face visa appointment ?

Hope someone can guide me. Thanks.

You will require an Irish visa. The only UK visa that can be used is the British Irish Visa Scheme / Short Stay Visa Waiver where the visa page would specifically say BIVS.
