VAF 2 or PBS DEPENDANT FORM (VAF 10)

Hi,
What form is an HSMP Dependant who is outside the united kingdom expected to fill. Is it VAF 2 or VAF 10
pls help.[/list]

Depends on when the main applicant had his HSMP approved (what's the date of approval and EC? and where did you apply from?).

The main applicant applied in the united kingdom and was granted the visa in march but submitted the application before the 29th of feb. 2008.
The main applicant has valid visa for two years under the old HSMP(valid till 2010)

The dependant will be applying from Nigeria.

It isn't clear from your response whether the application you made (before 29th Feb.) was the initial HSMP application or an application for FLR (leave to remain) on basis of HSMP approval.

If you made a leave to remain application before 29th Feb., then I believe your dependents should use VAF2 'coz you applied for and were granted leave to remain under HSMP rules. On the other hand, if you applied for leave to remain under Tier 1 (i.e. - after 29-Feb.), I believe your dependent should use VAF10.

Double check with BHC/VAC in Nigeria.

The application made before the 29th of feb. 2008 is the FLR(leave to remain on the basis of holding a valid HSMP approval letter.
