Need guidance for applying neutralisation

Post by BootaKHAN » Sun Feb 02, 2020 4:09 pm

Thank you ,
May I please ask some guidance from senior after reading my immigration history please.

UK since 2009
Out of UK is past 10 = never
Job = working for same company since 2009
Criminal record =In 2013 I was fined by court 500£ and given 8 points on license after pleading by post for driving with out insurance. It was only in my street and was stupid trying out car for few yards .
Marriage = married to EEA national from 2010 to 2019 till degree absolute I think
Divorce = applied September 2018and granted final degree in March 2019
Settle status = We both granted EEA withdrawal settle status in January 2019 while divorce was in process.

I’ve few questions please .
Since I’ve been granted Settle or ILR and no longer depend on EEA nation therefore I don’t need to update Ho about change in personal circumstances or move to new job which I’ll be joining next moth .
Do I need to prove 5 year residence proof or 10 year ?
I don’t have all pay slip or p60 . What is best option for me ?
I have HMRC employment record for last 5 year which I received yesterday, it will be enough to prove ?
I don’t have all bank statements as everything is online , I wonder what I can do to proof 5 year or 10 residency requirement ?

I have checked some previous post but not able to identify what documents do I need exactly. I’ll be great full if any one can help me .

            Thanks
            B Khan

            Hello

Under EEA route, you get 5 years residence, then Permanent Residence. Once you hold a permanent residence for 1 year, you can apply for citizenship. That's 6 years from your first to EEA permit to citizenship eligibility.

Once you have the PR, your status doesn't depend on you being married to an EEA national. So if you divorce/marry this doesn't affect your immigration status and doesn't need to be reported to the Home Office.

            You have to declare this.

                      That's not problem.

Fill the online form for the citizenship. At the end, it will tell you what documents to provide. You will be surprised. It's much less documents than to apply for a permanent residence.

Apply for Citizenship with EEA settle status

Post by BootaKHAN » Thu Feb 06, 2020 7:43 pm

                      Hello ,
I have started my application to see what questions do I need to answer, these are few questions which I don’t understand . Please if anyone can help me

1-There is question where it asks if you are EEA national or family member?

Since we divorced and hold withdrawal EEA settle status under UK law , do I still count my self as family member of EEA and tick Yes ? (Please note there is only yes or no , if yes then it ask if you have permanent residency or settle status )

2- there is another question about previous application for Uk visa and biometric, Do I need to write detail of my all previous application for visa and do not even remember dates ? What if someone doesn’t remember right date of biometric or visa .

                      Thanks

                      Boota
