Just wondering for pending applications is it showing the same as below for everyone?.
Its been showing exact details from day one for me.
Or am i looking at wrong place ??

We cannot find your status
This might be because your application is in progress.

Even if you do not have settled status, you may have continuing rights to stay in the UK as an EU citizen or as a family member of an EU citizen under the Free Movement Directive or under existing immigration law. You can evidence this using your ID document or an immigration document issued by the Home Office.

If you have already received confirmation of your status under the EU Settlement Scheme, contact the EU Settlement Resolution Centre.

Hi everyone,

It's really helpful to read all your posts! :D I'm an EU national, but my husband isn't, and this is the summary of his application:

First time in the UK: 2012, Tier 4
Job in the UK: Tier 2 (still valid)
Married EU national: July 2018
EU national granted settled status: June 2019
EU Settlement application as Non-EU spouse: early October 2019
Sent BRP and received it back within a week
Biometrics: haven't been called to provide them
COA: haven't received it
Decision: pending

Maybe it's 'normal' for it to take this long (+3 months) without any further communication, not even for biometrics, but as I see it, it's not a particularly complicated case. I was granted settled status before he submitted his application, we attached a marriage certificate (+ oficial translation obviously), and all the other documents, so I'm a bit puzzled that he hasn't even been called to provide his biometrics, or extra documentation in case they needed more, no COA, nor any further communication.

All the best to everyone! :)
hello
I am facing the same situation with you, the reason they are still holding this case is because we were using BRP to apply not passport or BRC, they are having tech issue to recognise BRP now, so our case are not even in the process, I had a few calls, they still want me to wait, hope we can get update soon. good luck
Hi there...you may actually be right about their problems with the BRPs. The last time we entered the UK (around 2 weeks ago) there was some sort of problem with his BRP and they couldn't retreive the fingerprint data so we had to wait quite a lot (+ all the stress associated to it). They eventually admitted it was their problem and apparently the card will be replaced (?). It's awfully frustrating, I wish you the best with your application!
hi
have you got any update? I still hear nothing from them

Hi,
I am a dependent NON-EU EFM of an EU citizen who is already granted pre-settled status. I applied on 19/12/2019 for EU Settlement and recieved a COA email on 30/12/2019. I came in UK on family permit in October 2019. I have not heard anything about the decision yet. I am afraid I don't have a residence card before and applied directly via EU settlement. Does anyone with in same situation with similar background. Thanks in advance!
It's okay to apply for the EU Settlement without a previous BRC. I've applied without ever having relied on my husband as a sponsor, and it's fine as well. Applications do take quite a while though at the moment - if you were to scroll through the last couple of pages, people are waiting for months.. I did biometrics on Jan 2, called them today - they said I am in for a wait.
So no worries - it is all good - but might take a while since they have maaaaany applications.
Hi lisa193,
Thank you for your rep. Did you come to UK on family permit as well?
Sorry, I've missed the E. I am not an extended family member, so am not entirely sure if there is a difference.
To your question - no, I've never relied on my husband for any visa/ residence applications before. I am getting a PhD, so I am on Tier 4 at the moment (hopefully not for long!).

Congradulations!! Could you give a bit background on your application? Prev migration history (whether relied on your fam member for an application before), married/ unmarried/ evidence provided?
Would be helpful to put things in perspective.
Thank you!

Hi again, for those who got a biometrics card under the eu settlement scheme application, did they just mail the card? And how long did you have to wait to receive it after the decision was granted?

Same, I have your same timings, COA on the 6th of Nov. I had to escalate twice in December and January. Yesterday they said, that it was stuck, but now it's progressing from that stage. But no further information. Still waiting, already 3 months officially .

Got my pre settle status today!!!
My timeline:

Application Online: 28/11/2019
Biometrics: 2/12/2019
COA: 16/12/2019
Email from home office asking me for my EU husband’s ID and proof of residence: 2/1/2020 , even tho I’ve linked his application to mine  . I sent a photo of his passport and one payslip.
Decision email: 5/2/2020 status granted!

My history:
I moved here in 2009 on Tier 4 visa, got married in 2015 and never applied for residence card as I didn’t need to work. My student visa expired in 2017.

I know the waiting is awful but just be patient guys!! Everything is gonna be ok :) :P

I applied in start November and have yet to receive a response confirming settled status. Just received a coa.
My eu maried partner applied in mid January snd got her settled status last week after which i called resolution centre. They said that the fact your partner got settled status recenlty you application would take a while before you are granted status which doesn't make sense as i have relied on her in my previous application and got a 5 yr RC. We married in 2014.
I was looking for applying for permanent residency document.
1- The fact that my partner got her settled status do i need to still submit evidence of her qualifying period as she hasnt been in work all 5 years. Though she got her ILR ( settld status).
2- can i apply for permanent residency document at the same time when my settled status is being considered or do i need to withdraw that application.
As i imagine pr document is taking less time to be processed.
Thank you.

But... I don't think it depends on how long you've been married for - because unmarried partners qualify for (pre-)settlement as well. We got married only in November 2019 but moved to the UK together in September 2017 and have evidence of residence from October 2017, so I assumed this is the month from which they start counting my residence here for the settlement? I.e. i'd be eligible for settled in October 2022?

Can I ask if you received a letter in the mail to allow you to book your biometrics appointment? Did you select the ‘apply by post’ option?

Hello to everybody! Its been only few weeks im here on this forum. And its helping to understand that its not just me forgotten from Home Office.
I came in this country at sept 2012 under tier 4 visa. On 6th of Sep i applied under the EU settlement scheme. The same day i did the biometrics as well. My wife had already got the pre settled status as she's been here since 2012 as well.
I received the certificate of the application at 11th Sept and since then i haven't heard anything from them. Ive started to get worried. I feel i deserve an answer. And what's more to have the right to make plans with my wife. Like this we both are in limbo. Last week i decided to call HO amd they said its in process. I called again today and i had too many questions. Im not sure ifi satisfied them as i was overwhelmed and thinking if i pronaunce or say something wrong. They said the same. Its in proces. Have someone got any idea how to manage this level of stress. Thanks in advance and sorry for the long tex
